What is LYOL Studios?
LYOL Studios Creatives is an independent creative studio based in Alaska. We create cinematic commercials, branded films, product visuals, and original stories. Our work begins with a clear idea: what should the audience see, feel, and remember?
What kinds of projects do you create?
We develop visual stories for brands, businesses, organizations, and storytellers. That can mean a commercial built around life inside a business, a product film, a promotional piece, or an original narrative. We shape the concept around the project rather than start with a preset template.
What does “hybrid production” mean?
We combine traditional filmmaking, 3D VFX, editing, and post-production with AI-assisted visual work where it serves the project. The approach depends on the story, the available materials, and the intended result. Human creative direction guides the work from concept through final review.
Who makes the creative decisions?
Our founder and Creative Director leads the studio’s creative direction. Tools can assist the production, but decisions about story, imagery, performance, sound, pacing, and the finished piece stay under human direction. AI is a tool, not the artist.
Can you create a commercial without visiting our business?
Yes, for suitable projects. We can develop a film remotely using your approved photos, footage, brand materials, and a direction we establish together. This can reduce the need for an on-site crew and help your business keep operating during production. We review each project before confirming that a remote approach fits.
What if our project needs an on-site shoot?
We discuss that requirement before agreeing the production plan. Remote production is one approach; the project’s actual needs determine the scope and arrangements.
What do you need from us to get started?
Tell us what you want to communicate, who you want to reach, and where the finished piece will appear. Share any existing photos, footage, logos, brand guidance, or references you have permission to use. We review the materials and identify any gaps before production.
Do we need a finished concept or script?
No. You can come to us with a specific idea or simply a story you want people to understand. We help develop a direction around your goals and the real details that make your work distinctive.
Will we approve the direction before production?
Yes. We establish the proposed concept and direction with you before production begins. Review stages, feedback, and revisions are defined in the agreed project scope so everyone knows what to expect.
Where can we use the finished work?
Projects can be scoped for websites, social channels, and advertising. Television or streaming use can also be discussed. We agree the intended channels, formats, delivery requirements, and usage permissions as part of the project.
How much does a project cost, and how long does it take?
Paid work is scoped individually. The concept, deliverables, materials, production requirements, and review process shape the proposal and schedule. We discuss the fee and timing with you before work begins, rather than publish a price or turnaround that may not fit your project.
Do you offer complimentary projects?
We offer selected businesses a complimentary 30-second commercial within an agreed scope. There is no production fee. In return, we ask for an honest testimonial if you are pleased with the finished work, and permission to feature the commercial in our studio portfolio. These terms are explained before production. A complimentary project does not require you to purchase a paid service.
How is complimentary work different from paid work?
A complimentary project is a specific, limited offer with its own agreed deliverable and exchange. Paid production has an agreed scope and fee based on the project’s needs. Additional work is discussed separately; it is not silently added to either arrangement.
How do we review and receive our film?
We provide a private, branded client delivery experience where you can view the work and share feedback. Once the agreed review process is complete, we deliver the final files and any formats included in your project scope.
